Silas has been saying quite humorous things for as long as we can remember, but lately they have taken a new dimension. His newest hobby is to build things with Lego and then explain to us why he chose to put each and every piece exactly where he put it. He also adds a lot of "play features", which to him means, pieces that can move / or that you can actually do something with instead of just a building. We are impressed by his creativity in his creations, but just as much in his explanations.
Just tonight he was explaining one of his creations as Søren and I were still sitting at the dinner table. All of a sudden he has to pee and the whole way to the bathroom and while he is peeing, he continues to explain and explain!!

The spring holiday season of long weekends has arrived. The first....Big pray day...an old Danish tradition. We used the day to have quality family time. We visited Hauntrup Zoo in the gorgeous spring weather. Benjamin really enjoyed seeing all the animals and he would say "HIIII" to every new animal we would visit and also "BYE BYE---insert animal name---See you later"
Silas also enjoyed the animals, but really loved playing on Denmarks biggest Jumping Pad and getting to used the powered payloader. He also enjoyed that he got to choose which table we should sit at for lunch and it was by the boats!!!
Our volounteer and friend Monica from Italy came with us and it was a very lovely day!
