I am a very fortunate woman! I have always loved to travel and now I get paid to travel! My most recent adventure was going on a ski trip to Norway with all 116 of our students. I had never been to Norway before so I was excited to see if it was as beautiful as I have heard, and well to set another pin in our travel map! To make it short, I was not dissapointed. The landscape is absolutely beautiful! The area we were at was quite mountainous and with the snow covering the entire area it was a wonderful sight. My favorite part was when we were at the top of the mountain we could look out and see how to mountains came together and at the foot of them there was a beautiful snow covered lake! It was quite breath taking!

But yes, nature aside it was a wonderful trip. We left at 5 am sunday morning and after 4 hours in the bus, 4 hours on a ferry and 4 more hours winding up the mountain we finally reached our destination of Hovden, Norway! We spent the next 4 days skiing and hanging out. The highlight for me was skiing with some of the other male teachers through the woods off the regular runs! It was so fun winding through the trees up and down little bumps and such, we took a lot of falls but we just burst out laughing every time! Now its over a week later and I am still tired from the physical and mental strain of such a trip, but the good memories out weigh all that!

While I was on the trip Søren was back home studying! He had a quiet week where he was quite productive and stayed at his Mom's house in Esbjerg for a few days! While he was in Esbjerg he was able to pick up something special for me! A bike!! Søren's dad had an extra bike and said that I could have it since I didn't have one, so he drove it down to Esbjerg and when I got back from Norway the bright orange bike was ready and waiting for me!! I was like a little child having to try it out right away! I am very happy for it.

But if that wasn't exciting enough, this past week has just as exciting! Søren and I became members of the local golf course! We thought it could be fun to have an activity we can do together and Søren has always enjoyed golfing and I, well I am learning to like it again, so it was a great idea. We were so excited when we got our membership tags in the mail and we were able to go out this past friday and hit a bucket of balls and play the short pitch and putt course! It was a lot of fun so we are looking forward to getting out again this next weekend.

This past weekend I was on duty at the school from Friday at 2pm to Saturday at 1am so I am a bit beat today, Sunday! However, I did have a great weekend with the students! This years Watermark was visiting out school all weekend so I was able to speak "American" and hear them give a concert! The other teacher and I also planned a great event called "The Winter-Olympics!" We had different events such as Curling, Bobsledding, Hockey, Skishooting, etc. It was a lot of work to put it together but a total success as not only the teachers, but also the students thought it was fun!

Now another week is upon us, but we have little Easter vacation soon so that always helps keep the mood up on top of a busy weekend!
