Silas quotes

Silas is constantly saying funny things. Here are some of the ones that come to mind.

1) Silas loves to say the word "lækkert" (which means yummy...or can mean a women is "hot") The other day he took a drink of water, set the cup down and said "Aahh...LÆKKERT".  Then at daycare a few days later when I picked him up, Margit our daycare provider told us that she was baking some rolls in the oven in the morning and Silas sniffed into the air and yelled "Margit, LÆKKERT!"...

2) We always talk to Silas in the morning about that he is soon going to go play at Margit's with his friends. We ask him, Do you think you and Samuel will play together today? and he starts shaking his head saying "no"...then on to the next one  we ask "Marie?".."NO"...Emilie?..."NO"...Mathias?..."NO"...then we asked him Rune? (Margit's husband) and he answered "FUN!"

3) Silas and I were up early one morning playing in his room. I layed down on the floor and said "Mommy is tired Silas"...Silas then went to his bed, grabbed his blanket and put it on top of me. Then he said "Mommy sleepy"...and started in a singing voice "Sleep baby, sleep baby"...(The same song I sing to him at night)

4) Søren asked Silas while playing in his play kitchen..."Silas, can Far have something to drink?" and Silas answered "Nej"...Then I asked him "Silas, can Mommy have something to drink?" and Silas answered "No"
